It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edgar Carter announces his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday, July 21, 2008 at the age of 70 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife, Elizabeth; children: Sam (Mary Earle), Gerry (Patti), Jackie (Sandy Murphy) and Dwayne (Stephanie Baldwin); grandchildren: Katrina, Samantha, Kala, Natasha and Harley; brothers: Clifford (Donna) and Emmanuel; sister, Linda Ivany (Austin); brother-in-law, Howard Nippard; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Helen and Edward Carter; and sisters: Sadie and Marie. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Stacey officiating.
