Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family, Edward Amon Miller, at the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Tuesday, June 17th, 2008, in his 68th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Catherine (nee Vokey) of 49 years; his children: Victor (Caroline) of Thunder Bay, ON, Vernon (Nancy) of St. John's, NL, Joyce (Jerry) Pittman of Thunder Bay, ON, Scott (Leann) of High Level, Alberta and Roger (Sheena) of Fort McMurray; his 12 grandchildren: Justin (Lilyda) Pittman, Jenna Pittman, Stephen (Holly), Mark (Becky), Ashley, Leann, Kaitland, Jeremy, Ryran, R.J. Roger Junior, Kristian and Ariana; his sisters: Mrs. Annie Kane and Mrs. Emma (Wilf) Chaulk; his sister-in-law, Mrs. Lucy Miller; his special friends: Hedley Toope, Ken Pittman, Cecil Pollard, Robert Diamond, Ed Webster and Roy Mcgrath. Edward was predeceased by his parents: Matthias Hubert and Dorothy Jessie Miller; his brother, Walter Miller; his sister, Barbara; his brother-in-law, Stan Kane and his mother and father-in-law: Sarah and James Vokey. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from the hours of 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 19th, 2008 and Friday, June 20th, 2008 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from St. David’s Anglican Church in Pasadena, NL, from where also the funeral service will take place from on Saturday, June 21st, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Canon David Pearce officiating. Burial to follow at the church cemetery in Pasadena. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Fund or The Cancer Foundation of the Western Memorial Hospital would be gratefully accepted.
