Edward (Ned) Bouzan passed away peacefully at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the age of 91 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Frances (Cheek); brothers: Gregory and Jack Bouzan; Fred Wells and wife, Jane; and sister, Alice (Wells) Wiscombe. Leaving to mourn, sisters: Vera Shomon, Norfolk, VA, Marion Newhook (Ed), St. John’s, Ruth Rankin, Charleston, SC, Mary Bartlett, Halifax, NS and Lillian Aszmus, Soldotma, Alaska; sister-in-law, Sheila Bouzan, Grand Falls and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre and to a special friend and neighbour, Catherine McDonald. Visitation took place at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, May 9th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville, with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre Memorial Fund would be greatly appreciated.
