Died peacefully at the Labrador Health Center on April 29, 2008, at the age of 65. Eric was the son of the late Charlie and Mina Crocker of Heart’s Delight, NL. He is survived by his loving spouse Claudia McAllen, his children Dawn, Denise and David and their mother Sheila and two grandchildren David and Chelsea. He is also survived by his brothers Bob (Jan) and Ron (Sheila Fitzpatrick) and his sister Maxine (Norm Pinhorn). Eric will be lovingly remembered by the McAllen family: Claudia’s mother Amy, Paul (Nancy), Jamie (Jill), Roy (Gwen), Mickey (Paul Ellery), Jean (Richard Lindsay), and Gail; by his nieces and nephews and extended family members and by a large circle of devoted friends. A funeral service for Eric will be held at the Chapel of the Northern Lights, Five Wing , Goose Bay on Friday, May 2, at 2:30 pm. A celebration of Eric’s life will also be held at the Goose Bay Curling Club at 4:00 pm on May 2. At Eric’s request his ashes will be scattered over Byrne Lake in the Big Land he loved so well. Donations in Eric’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society for Daffodil Place.
