It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ethel Florence Preston announces her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at the age of 74 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughters: Helen Stone, Doreen Hunt (Raymond), Gwen Wiseman, Grace Young (Rick), Terri Preston (Wade); sons: Maxwell (Anita), Gary (Brenda), Ernie (Valerie), Wayne; 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sisters: Elsie Corcoran, Edna Corcoran (John), Marion Strickland (Eugene); brothers-in-law: John Rose, Richard Delaney, Gerald Preston (Vera), Bill Preston (Violet), Bob Preston (Dorothy); sisters-in-law: Rose Barrett, Gladys Fitzgerald (Jim), May Pennell. She was predeceased by her husband Maxwell of 50 years, daughter Linda Bowman, son Paul Preston, sisters Margie Rose and Alice Delaney, brothers Roy Barrett and Jack Barrett. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Rd, on Monday, December 1, 2008 form 7-9 pm and on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 2 pm from the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Drive with Major Calvin Fudge officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Salvation Army Church Fund.
