Gerald Joseph (Jerry) MacKenzie, 63, of 55 Bleaker St., Toronto, ON was called to heaven on Monday October 20, 2008. Born in Norris Point, NFLD, he was the only son of the late Arthur and Theresa MacKenzie-Organ. Besides his best friend and loving companion Lillian Mallen, who was his constant source of love and hope, he is survived by his children Jerry MacKenzie of Las Vegas, NV, and Nancy Steele of Dartmouth, NS. He had 5 grandchildren: P.J. Crosby of Dartmouth, NS., Mackenzie and Liam Steele of Dartmouth, NS, Elizabeth and Brandon MacKenzie of Brighton, CO. USA. He was predeceased by his son Brean on Dec. 1, 2005. His body rests at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home and Chapel at 467 Sherbourne St. Toronto, ON. Viewing is on Thursday Oct. 23 from 3-7 pm with service on Friday, Oct. 24 at 9 am in the chapel. His final resting place will be with his son Brean at Elmwood Cemetary Brighton, CO. USA.
