It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald Organ announce his passing on Friday, April 10th, 2009 at the Bonne Bay Health Center in his 74th year. Left with fond and loving memories wife; Margaret (nee Reid). His children Shari (Walter Stacey) of Gibbons, Alberta, Shawn (Sharon) of Greenwood, NS. Kim (Bruce Shears) of Deer Lake, Jennifer (Paul Beandoin) of Ottawa, and Anne (Melvin Butt) of Rocky Harbour. 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. His sisters, Agatha (Wilf Taylor) of Corner Brook, Mrs.Vivian Organ of Ottawa, Brenda (Terry Pittman) of B.C., Mrs. Sadie Farwell of Norris Point and Mrs. Muriel Brake of Trout River. His brother Matthew (Bessie) of Norris Point, and his sister-in-law Jane Organ. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Matthew and Annie, brother Clayton (Elaine) Organ, brothers-in-law Clayton Farwell and Clayton Brake. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday at 2:00p.m. from the Church of The Good Shepherd in Norris Point with The Rev . John Olsson officiating. A private burial to follow at the church cemetery, in Norris Point. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Daffodil Place- C/O Canadian Cancer Society P.0.Box 8921, St. John's, N.L.
