It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gertrude Wilton (nee Jesso) announce her passing at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, Nova Scotia on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the age of 76 years. She will be sadly missed by her son, Charles Jesso (Emmaline White) of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia; one daughter, Allison Wilton of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia; two grandchildren: Charles and Angela Jesso, both of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia; four brothers: Austin Jesso of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Cecil Jesso of Ship Cove, NL, Felix (Margaret) Jesso of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia and Gary (Mary) Jesso of Corner Brook, NL; two sisters: Sylvia Jesso of Ship Cove, NL and Joyce Hurley of Corner Brook, NL; and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by Ronald Wilton; her parents: Angela (Wheeler) Jesso and John Daniel Jesso; her four brothers: Manuel (Manjo) Jesso, Richard Jesso, Leonard Jesso and Francis Jesso. Cremation took place in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Friends may call at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Piccadilly on Wednesday, July 30th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 31st at 10:30 a.m. from Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Piccadilly with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Lower Cove. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville.
