Veteran Royal Navy WWII, 1939 - 1945. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gidues Philman Sacrey, age 88, announce his passing at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre, Veteran’s Pavillion in St. John’s, NL on Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Left with fond and loving memories are sons Chris (Heikie), Baden, ON, and Peter (Colleen), Winnipeg, MB; grandsons Harley, Dillon and Brandon; sister Maisie Decker (Rex); and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife Maisie; brother Ralph; and sister Evelyn Spracklin. Visitation to take place from Wimbleton’s Funeral Home in Baie Verte on Friday 10 am - 10 pm. Funeral service to take place from Bethany United Church, Baie Verte on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 2 pm. Interment to follow from Faith United Cemetery, Woodstock.
