Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on September 16, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Alice (nee Terry) and loving father of Gene (Tanya) of Lambeth, Ontario, Patricia White of Timberlea, Nova Scotia, David (Peggy) of Petersburg, Ontario, Barbara (Paul) Michaud of Riverview, New Brunswick, Chris (Jodi) of Oshawa, Ontario, proud grandpa of Sarah, Joshua, Kate, Christine, Michael, Anne, Matthew and Melanie. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, one brother, Cornelius (Veronica) White of Stephenville, two sisters: Rita St. Croix of Pointe LaHaye, SMB, NL, Patricia (Russ) Luby of Orlando, Florida and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, September 19th at 10:00 a.m. from St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
