On January 12, 2009, Heather Ann Walsh passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with Crohn’s disease at the Northern Lights Regional Hospital. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: Daughters, Carolyn Metchewais and family, Lisa Alexander and family, Tina Shields and family, Tracey Randell and family; husband, Carl Walsh. Also many other family and friends in Ontario and Newfoundland. We would like to thank all family and friends for love and support, the hospital staff and nurses on Medicine Ward who have given her the best of care. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers at the Northern Lights Hospital on the 3rd Floor Medicine Department. A memorial was held at the Fort McMurray Gospel Assembly Church on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Glen Forsberg officiating. “Her memory is our keepsake, With which we will never part, God has her in His keeping We have her in our hearts.”
