It is with great sadness that the family of the late Helen Decker announce her passing on Sunday, January 25th, 2009 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 92 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Jessie (Thomas) Sweeney, Oshawa, ON, Elizabeth (Erwin) Deighan, Oshawa, ON, Gilbert (Mary), Pollard’s Point, Kathleen (Walter) Hynes, Conception Bay, Seal Cove, David (Diane), Brampton, ON and Dale (Derick) O’Brien, Torbay; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; special family member, Olive Milley; as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband John, October 1st 2008, daughter Linda; and brother Fred Ralph. Visitation will take place from St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, Pollard’s Point on Wednesday and Thursday from where the funeral service will be held on Friday January 30th at 2 PM. Reverend Hannah Dicks officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Michael and All Angels Church Memorial Fund.
