It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ida A. White announces her passing at the O’Connell Centre on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at the age of 101 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, Her daughters; Veneita (Mabrey) Winsor of Springdale, Bernice (Lewis) Wiseman of Corner Brook, Maisie (Maxwell) Barrow of Deer Lake; 3 sons, Clarence (Marina) White of London Ontario, Eric (Dora) White of Corner Brook, Woodrow (Rowena) White of London Ontario; 20 grandchildren, 39 great grand children and 2 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, George, infant son Ross and sister Pearl Vincent. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, February 9, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. and Tuesday February 10, 2009 from 10-12. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 2 P.M. from Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street with Major Frank Johnson officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
