A loving mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend. She passed peacefully on Wednesday August 6th 2008 in her 95th year, at the Palliative care unit of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook. Born September 1st 1913, the oldest daughter of Frederick and Mary Ann Bennett of Wards Harbour, Notre Dame Bay, NL She married Clifford Pelley on January 28th, 1932. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford on November 19, 1999 and also by her 5 brothers and 1 sister. Leaving to mourn her 9 children; Muriel Lundrigan of Newmarket, ON, Meta Prince of Princeton, NL Boyce (Anne) of Bedford, NS, Laurence (Lyda) of Hantsport, NS, Myra Murphy of Trinton, NS, Verdon of Deer Lake, N.L. Rexton of Cormack, NL Jean (Norman) Rideout, of Pasadena, NL and Calvin of Cormack. Her two sisters; Priscilla Young and Elizabeth Little, both of Dartmouth, NS. 29 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Also many nephews, nieces, and wonderful friends and her two special home care providers, Beverly Gale and Ivy Nault. The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home and Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake today Friday August 8th 2008 from the hours of 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday August 9th 10-11 am. The funeral service will take place on Saturday August 9th 2008 at 2 pm from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Bennett's Drive, Deer Lake, NL, officiated by Mr. Bruce Nicoll.
