It is with great sadness that the family of the late James George Strong announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at the age of 75 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Theresa Lainey, two brothers: David (Linda) Strong of Victoria, British Columbia, Daniel (Regina) Strong of Swift Current, four sisters: Alice Murray of Virginia, USA, Christina (Ray) Cook of Texas, USA, Nicola Arnold of Michigan, USA, Barbara Ore of Virginia, USA. He will be sadly missed by his step- children and step-grandchildren whom he deeply loved, five step-children: Aggie and Margie Gale, both of Grand Prairie, Alberta, Chris (Sharon) Lainey of Stephenville, Tony Lainey of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Rita Lainey of Stephenville, four step-grandchildren: Shannon, Theresa, Laurie, Jason and large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Chester Strong, mother, Elva Granville, sister, Geraldine Strong. Cremation has taken place at Russell’s Crematorium, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Daffodil House (Cancer), St. John’s would be greatly appreciated.
