It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Peter McKinnon announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Monday, November 10th, 2008 at the age of 51 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, sisters: Minnie McKinnon, Corner Brook, Florence Day (Ron), Irishtown, Dorothy Rideout (Karl), Corner Brook, Margaret Wells (Vern), Corner Brook, Mary Hobbs (Steve), Collingwood, ON, Sylvia Blackwood (Randy), Collingwood, ON, Theresa Park, Corner Brook, Sadie Brown (Randy), Fort Nelson, BC; brothers: Angus, Corner Brook, Russell (Marie), Corner Brook, Danny (Paulette), Corner Brook, Alexander, Corner Brook, Archie (Lindy), Fort Nelson, BC; sister-in-law, Debbie Brake; brother-in-law, Ron Williams; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents, Archibald and Alice McKinnon; sister, Shirley; brothers: John, Joseph and Allan. The funeral service will take place today, Wednesday, November 12th at 10:30 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer. Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery.
