It is with great sadness that the family of the late James (Jimmy) Thomas Young announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at the age of 67 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Lorraine, three daughters: Lisa (Murray) Goodman of Toronto, Dianne (Billy) French of Stephenville, Nicole Young of Stephenville, one son, Derry Jesso of Red Brook, two brothers: Hector (Geraldine) Young of Sheaves Cove, Mike (Maude) Young of Stephenville, one sister, Mazie Jesso of Cape St. George, seven grandchildren: Melissa, Justin (Cassondra), Austin, Dustin, Alicia, Felicia, Jacob, one great-granddaughter, Chloe Humber and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his two sons, Ashley and Lauren Young, parents, Mary and Anthony Young, three brothers, Wallace, Larry and Leo and sister, Geraldine Jesso. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, February 28th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
