Passed peacefully away after a short illness, surrounded by his family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Saturday, September 20th, 2008, age 92 years. Formerly of Calvert. Honorary lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. Predeceased by his wife Margaret (1980). Leaving to mourn his children: Paul (Gertie), Imelda Huitema, Ann Churchill, Aiden (Geraldine), Gerard (Patsy) and Kevin (Dorothy); grand- children: Kimberly, Paul (Nicole), Joseph, Adam, Angela, Jeff (Meidy), Starlene (Gordon), Stephen, Kayla, Matthew and Michael; three great grandchildren: Mitchell, Madison and Luke; one sister Bridget Walsh of Corner Brook; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. & 7 p.m.-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to take place on Wednesday, September 24th, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
