It is with great sadness that the family of the late Julia Quilty announce her passing on Monday, July 28th, 2008 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville at the age of 92 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her four sons: Lawrence (Mary), St. George’s, Bernard (Theresa), St. Alban’s, Kevin, St. John’s and Leo (Nancy), New Waterford, NS; eight grandchildren: six great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Minnie MacInnis and Clara MacInnis, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents: James and Myra MacInnis; brothers: Joseph, Alexander, Ed Joe; sister: Mary Smith. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st at 10:00 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s, Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Highlands. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
