It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kevin Bourgeois announce his passing after a short battle with cancer at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the age of 69 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his sisters: Maureen of Corner Brook, Christina of Ontario, Annastasia of Ontario, Mary of Corner Brook and Joy of Ontario; brothers: Alphonse of British Columbia, Maxwell of Ontario and Mike of Corner Brook; a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; his extended family and friends at Xavier House; and his V.O.N. caregivers: Joan and Eileen and his friends at the Adult Day Care Centre. He was predeceased by his parents: John and Johanna Bourgeois. Sincere gratitude to Dr. David Coleman for all the wonderful care that Kevin received. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday, August 28, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from Most Holy Redeemer Parish, Mt. Bernard Ave. with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
