It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leonard Formanger announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at the age of 68 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Ethel; one son, Lenny (Joannie) of Stephenville; his mother, Rita Formanger of Stephenville; his grandson, Jamie Snook and two very special great-grandchildren: Cassidy and Colton Woods of West Bay; brothers: Don, Black Duck Brook, Norman (Anne), Black Duck Brook, Ricky (Marty), Piccadilly and Bernie, Point au Mal; sisters: Lorraine (Gussie), Three Rock Cove, Lavern (Eddie), Three Rock Cove, Linda, Stephenville and Regina, Stephenville, as well as a large circle of friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his father, Francis; brothers: Johnny Hughie and Leo; sister, Margarite; and one very special granddaughter, Robin Woods. Cremation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home and Crematorium of Stephenville Crossing. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, with Father Ed Terry officiating. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital.
