It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lorne Baxter Watkins announce his sudden passing at the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook on Monday, September 1st, 2008 in his 50th Year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his mother; Mrs. Ruby Watkins, Jackie Young, his children; Frazer (Jennifer), Scottie (Daniel), Jake, Jasmine, and Jay, his siblings; Derek (Edna), Bob (Linda), Romona (Raymond), and Dave, also leaving to mourn a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Lorne was predeceased by his father; Ronald Watkins and his brother Bryant Watkins. The family had visitation on Wednesday September from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm and today Thursday September 4th 2008 from 10-12. The funeral service will take place today Thursday, September 4th, 2008, from the Salvation Army church in Deer Lake at 2 pm with Major Lindsey Oxford officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery at wights road, Deer Lake.
