It is with great sadness that the family of the late Madonna Ruth announces her passing on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at the age of 49 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: husband, Fidelis (Dale) Swyers; mother, Donalda Strickland; father, Lewis Tavenor; brothers: Dean, Ben, Mark, Lloyd; sisters: Darlene, Connie and Christine; aunts: Lydia Ruth, Blanche Ruth and Marion Ruth; uncle, William Ruth; and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving grandparents, Wallace and Effie Ruth and uncle, Wallace (Bud) Ruth. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Interment at a later date.
