It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Cutler announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at the age of 80 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Reginald; one daughter, Delores (Cornelius) Sharpe of St. George’s; one niece, Marlene Simon of Stephenville; four grandchildren: Brent Sharpe, Glen Sharpe, Yvonne MacDonald and Vanessa Sharpe; five great-grandchildren: Brent Sharpe Jr., Dylan Sharpe, Jacob MacDonald, Joshua Sharpe and Cody Sharpe; special cousin, Olivera Swyers of St. George’s, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Anastasia Simon and her parents, Benjamin and Constance Muise. Cremation has taken place at Russell’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Stephenville and friends may call at St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George’s on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 7th at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George’s with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Courthouse Road, St. George’s. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
