It is great sadness that the family of the late Marie Stella LaSaga announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Monday, December 22, 2008 at the age of 78 years. She leaves to mourn her husband Gordon LaSaga and her daughter Joy LaSaga as well as other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Rose White. Visitation will take place from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s on Friday, December 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
