Our kind, gentle, meticulous Marlene is gone to finally be with her beloved Otis. She died suddenly without any fuss in her Grand Falls/Windsor apartment on March 27, only two weeks after her 71st birthday. Born March 10, 1938 in Botwood to Frank Woolridge and Winnie (Dalley) Woolridge. Predeceased by her father in 1954 and mother in 2001, her husband Otis 1994, her parents-in-law Allan Burton 1968, Maude (Burton) Clarke 1977, sister-in-law Vida Short 2000, niece Rhonda Marlene Southcott 1999. Lovingly remembered by sister Rita Southcott (Ronald), Grand Falls/ Windsor, brother-in-Law Maurice (Bess) Burton, Baie Verte, brother-in-Law Kerwin (Helen) Burton, La Scie, cousins Irene and Shawn Grandy, Corner Brook. Nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Visitation will continue at Humber Valley United Church, Pasadena on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 2nd at 2:00 PM.
