It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Edna Joseph announce her passing at the Palliative Care Unit in the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, NL on Friday, January 23, 2009 in her 70th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her family, Jim (Renee) - Taryn, Christopher, Cameron, Tanner; Deborah - Daniel and father Garry Burton; Donald (Karen) - Christa, Donald, Patrick, Kristy, Aric; James - daughter Trina, son - Dorian; Paul (Carla) - Kyle; Great Grandchildren; Virginia, Skylar, Chloe, Novalee, Evan. Sisters; Dorothy (Bert), Clara, Hazel, and only one brother Samuel (Edith) and a large number of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mom was a true mother and best friend. She had a long career in fashion/sales and could always be counted on for an honest opinion. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles Upshall and Evelyn (Reid), sister Lillian and her husband Rocko, mother and father in laws Dufe and Josephine, brothers in law John Joseph, Michael Joseph, Patrick Joseph, Herbert Cramm and Eli Hodder. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Saturday, January 24, 2009 and Sunday, January 25, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will take place on Monday January 26, 2009 from the Most Holy Redeemer Parish, Mt. Bernard Ave. Internment to take place at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the S.P.C.A. will be greatly appreciated.
