Passed peacefully away at the Palliative care unit of the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook, on Thursday February 7th, 2008, in her 73 Year, Mary Jane Critch. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories 4 sons: Gerald (Beverly) Norris of North West Brook, Gordon (Cindy) of Milton ,Ontario, Calvin (Wanda), of Mississauga, Ontario, and Kevin of Brampton, Ontario. 2 daughters: Debbie (Mrs. Frank Reid) of Deer Lake, and Jenesta (Mrs Stewart Bennett) of St. Catherines, Ontario. 3 brothers: Arthur (Lydia) Baker, and William Norris both of North West Brook, and Herb (Ada) Norris of Deer Lake. 5 sisters: Florence Crocker of Swift Current, Joyce (Mrs. Harvey Crocker) of Ontario, Victoria Norris of North West Brook, Mabel Pickett of Hare Bay, and Doris (Mrs. Ralph Mcgrrica) of Nova Scotia, her 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Mother was predeceased by her husband: Bernard Critch, sons: Johnny, Tony, Wade, and Eric. Grandson Kurtis Norris, sister-in-law Edna Norris. Also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends today Saturday February 9th 2008 from the hours of 7-9 pm and on Sunday February 10th 2008 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Parsons Funeral Home 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, The funeral service will take place on Monday February 11th 2008 at 2 pm from the Salvation Army church in Deer Lake, with Major Lindsey Oxford officiating with the Burial to take place at the church cemetery on Wights Road, Deer Lake. In lieu of flowers donations to the Palliative care unit of the W.M.R. Hospital, Corner Brook. The funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home 63 North Main Street Deer Lake.
