It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Louise Evans announces her passing at the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at the age of 82 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband, Albert; children: Susan (Roger) House of Daniel’s Harbour, John (Kim) Evans of Corner Brook, Reg (Sherry) Evans of Toronto, Bruce (Debbie) Evans, Lloyd (Paulette) Evans, Colin (Shelly) Evans and Vicki (William Mahoney), all of Corner Brook; grandchildren: Janet House (Jason) of Corner Brook, Jason House (Robin) of Alberta, Natasha Evans (Phil) of Toronto, Rachelle Evans, Natalie Evans, Matthew Evans, JonAndrew Evans and Jeramie Evans, all of Corner Brook; great-grandchildren: Colby House, Samantha House and Madison House; brother, Ben (Mary) Rowsell of Corner Brook; sister, Ruth Gale of Springdale; sister-in-law, Edith Rowsell of Corner Brook; the Evans family of Grand Falls and St. John’s; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Blanche & Arthur Rowsell and brothers: Reg, Baxter, Bill, Joe, Arthur and Bert. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday, July 18, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, July 19, 2008 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. The funeral service will take place at Oakland United Church on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kimberley Waite officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
