It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maxwell C. Nicholas announce his passing at his family residence at Jackson's Arm, on Monday March 3rd, 2008 at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his family: wife Emily (nee Gillingham); his children: Linda (Clifton Chayton) of Manuels, NL, Randy (Yvonne) of Jackson's Arm, and David (Maxine), of Brampton, Ontario; his nine grandchildren: Kehila, Tyson, Ronda, Paul, Jason, Jamie, Amanda, Dustin, and Dillon; his six great grandchildren; Nicolle, CJ, Chlo, Tyler, Samantha, and Joshua; his two sisters: Mrs. Evelyn Cannings of Labrador City, and Mrs. Audrey Watson of Ontario. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and extended family. Dad was predeceased by his children; Clifford, Terry, and Karen. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Bartholmew Anglican Church in Jackson's Arm, on Tuesday, March 4th, 2008 from 7-9 pm and on Wednesday, March 5th, 2008 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Where also the funeral service will take place from on Thursday, March 6th, 2008 at 2:00 pm with the Rev: Hannah Dicks officiating with the Burial to follow at the church cemetery in Jackson's Arm.
