It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Christopher Moss announce his passing on Friday, September 19th, 2008 at the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook in his 91st year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: his wife of 62 years, Priscilla (nee Warren), Pasadena; daughter, Faye (Terry) Anderson, Moline, Illinois, USA; son, Robert (Joy) Moss, Deer Lake; grandson, Keith (Cheryl), Oak Harbour, Washington, USA; granddaughter, Amanda (Spencer), Montreal, Quebec; great-grandson, Trysten, Oak Harbour, Washington, USA; sisters: Jessie House, Rocky Harbour, Freda Guinchard and Hazel Eisan, both of Deer Lake; special mention to Victoria Dyke, Stephenville; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Dorcas Moss and numerous brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 22nd at 2:00 p.m. from St. David of Wales Anglican Church, Pasadena with Rev. Canon David Pearce and Rev. Edmund Laldin officiating, followed by the interment at St. David’s Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
