It is with great sadness that the family of the late Myra Alma Shears, nee Janes, announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, on Friday, April 17th, 2009 in her 70th year, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband; Austin, her children; Dan (Vicky), Valda both of Fort McMurray, Alberta., Juanita (Rick) of Coachman's Cove, NL, Cordell (Marlene) of Sparwood, BC, Terrence (Sherri), Richard (Vicki) both of Lethbridge, AB, Angela (Jason) of Pasadena, N., Barbara (Corey), Paul both of Fort McMurray, AB, & Dwaine (Sandra) of Edmonton, AB. Her 12 grandchildren; Ricky, Kerri, Cindy, Robert, Angela, Tristan, Evan, Rylan, Brandon, Abby, Austin, & Ashley. Her 4 great grandchildren; Julie, Madison, Lucas, & Damian. Her close friends; Ann & Hiram Hewlin, June Beck, & Frances Hurley, her brother in law; Richard McDonald. Myra was predeceased by her parents; Fraser & Frances Janes, brothers; Robert, Stanley, & Wilson Janes, her sisters; Bella (Wish) McDonald, & Hilda McDonald. A private family visitation was held at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake. Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel on Tuesday, April 21st, 2009 at 2 pm with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Anglican section of Wights Road, Deer Lake Cemetery.
