It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nathan Collins announce his passing on Sunday April 19th 2009 at the North Haven Manor in Lewisport at the age of 70. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son Roger (Marcia), grandsons: Bradley and Cody, sisters and brothers: Millie Mackey (Roy), Norm Collins (Maxine), William Collins (Stella), Daniel Collins (Geraldine), and Eldon Collins (Jocelyn), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Annie Collins, sisters: Rhyma Osmond, Marion Farnell and brother-in-law Hebert Osmond. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 22nd at 2 pm from St Paul’s United Church, Major Lindsay Oxford officiating. Interment to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery, Salvation Army section. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
