Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family, Norman David Moore, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, on Wednesday, March 18th, 2009, at the age of 61. Leaving to mourn: his wife, Kathleen (Kay) (nee Goosney); his two sons: Martin Moore of Edmonton, Alberta and Paul (Donna) Goosney of Fort McMurray, Alberta; his daughter, Gayleen (Stephane) Lambert of Greenwood, NS; his grandchildren: Chace Moore, Alyssa Lambert, Jacob Lambert and Skyler Goosney; his five sisters: Cassie Moore (Austin Goosney) of Reidville, Lucy (David) Archer of Spencerville, Ontario, Linda (Mark) Kendall of Codroy Valley, Marlene (Rick) Seward of Valleyview, Alberta and Christine (Charles) Salvail of Metcalfe, Ontario; his five brothers: Tom (Eileen) of Corner Brook, Jim (Martha) of Edmonton, Alberta, Gerald (Lynn) of Kingston, Ontario, Ralph (Bonnie) of Stratford, PEI and Gary (Sandy) of Comox, BC; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Madeline Goosney of Deer Lake; also his puppy, Angel. Norman was predeceased by his mother and father, Ivy and Edwin Moore, his sisters: Laura and Amelia Moore; and his father-in- law, Wallace Goosney. Also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2009 and Friday, March 20, 2009 from 2-4 and 7 -9 p.m. from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. from the St. Micheal’s & All Angels Anglican Church in Deer Lake; Canon John Meade officiating. Burial to follow at the church cemetery, Wights Road, Deer Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norman’s memory can be made to the St. Micheal’s & All Angels Accessibility Church Fund.
