It is with great sadness that the family of the late Patrick Joseph Bennett announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on January 21, 2009 at the age of 78. He was a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus for 44 years, receiving the Honour of the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus. He will be sadly missed by his loving children; Catherine, Sheila, Patrick (Phyllis) of Bradford ON, David (Alison) of Ottawa ON, Paul (Marni) of Stony Plain AB. Grandchildren; Deanna, Carol-Ann, Sean, Angela, Jason, Ashley, Scott, Jeff, Jordan, and Meagan. Great Grandchildren; Ethan and Lauren. Brothers; Leo (Mary), Walter (Laura). Sister, Ann Ewell. Special friend Joan McCarthy. Large circle of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Doris, parents Patrick and Gertrude, brothers Jack, Ernest, and Fred, sisters Helen (Nel) and Lillian. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home on Friday, January 23, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Mount Bernard Avenue, Saturday January 24, 2009 at 10:30 a.m., Father Hynes officiating. Cremation to follow, burial at a later date.
