It is with great sadness that the family of the late Philip Matthew Brown announce his passing on Sunday, January 18th, 2009 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 56 years. He leaves to mourn his loving friend Dorothy Brown, special grandson Phoenix, son Gavin, mother Alice, brothers: Gordon (Amelia) and Keith (Paula), sisters Mondella (Darrel) and Lorraine. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Chester and brother Edward. Friends may visit St. George’s Anglican Church in Robinson’s on Monday evening and Tuesday from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 21st at 2:00 PM with Rev. Canon David Pearce officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a Charity of one’s Choice.
