LEWIS, Edith Blanche, 87, of Digby, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010, in Digby General Hospital. Born Nov. 27, 1922, in East Ferry, Digby County, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Ruby (Griffiths) Theriault. She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother and grandmother. Edith is survived by her children, Joan (Welly) Halliday, Donna Crooks, Hank Lewis and Wayne (Diane) Lewis. She is loved by her seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren intensely. She is survived by one brother and two sisters and predeceased by husband, Henry, and one brother and three sisters. Funeral service was held March 24 in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Digby.
