It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roland Hynes announce his passing at his home in Edmonton, Alberta, on Thursday, February 26th, 2009 at the age of 49. Leaving to mourn friend Laurie Zukinsky; four sisters: Doreen Rumbolt (Fred), Elaine Pennell, Nancy O’Quinn (Darrin) of Benoit’s Cove, Catherine Jewers (Herbie) of Nova Scotia; six brothers: Don (Edna) and Matt (Donna) of Nova Scotia, Howard and Glenn (Kim) of Benoit’s Cove, Colin (Felita) and Greg (Debbie) of Edmonton, Alberta. As well as a large group of nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Peter (1981), mother Hilda (2006), brothers Leo (1999), Robert (1964) and his sister Marion Gallant (2008). Cremation has taken place and services will be announced at a later date.
