Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family, Sylvester Pennell in his 87 year on Friday, April 9, 2010 at Trepassey Retirement Home. Sylvie was predeceased by his parents Richard and Bridget Pennell and brother Louis, his sister-in-law Frances Colbert and her husband Robert, brother-in-law Val Finlay and his wife Doreen and Walter Finlay. Leaving to mourn on their 52nd Anniversary his devoted and loving wife Theresa. He will be dearly missed by his children Sylvia (Dick) Blackmore, Mark (Denise), Neil (Martha), Brent (Ann) and Norma (Jack) Hensley. Sylvie also left seven precious grandchildren whom he adored and loved: Neil, Blair, Matthew, Bruce, Lori, Jordan and Nancy. He will be sadly missed by his sisters: Angela (Nelson deceased) Blakeburn, Susan (William deceased) Power, Sr. Frances Pennell (P.V.B) and Nora (Thomas) Power. One brother Gordon (Florence) and his sister-in-law Marie Pennell. Sylvie also left to mourn sisters-in-law: Ethel (Thomas deceased) Stamp. Eileen (George deceased) Tobin. Also left to mourn Sylvie's passing are his many special nieces, nephews, friends and his extended family at Trepassey Retirement Home. He loved them all.
