Stephenville Crossing

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Christopher James Shears announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, on Monday, April 12, 2010, at the age of 35 years. He will be sadly missed by his common-law wife, Amy Joyce; three daughters: Deidre Marie Shears, Kate-Lynn Anne Shears and Grace Eve Shears, all of Stephenville Crossing; his parents, Walter & Delores Janes of Codroy; parents-in-law, Herbert & Lisa Simon of Mattis Point and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Arthur & Jessie Janes and Edward & Florence Shears. Friends may call at Russell's Funeral Home, Station Road, Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 15th at 2:00 p.m. at the All Saints Anglican Church, Stephenville Crossing, with interment in the All Saints Anglican Cemetery in Stephenville Crossing. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
