Passed away on Tuesday, November 4th, 2008 at Scarborough General Hospital, Rowena Morgan at the age of 58, surrounded by her loving family. Rowena is predeceased by her husband Cyril Morgan (November 13th, 2006). Rowena is survived by her daughter Vanessa and son-in-law Stacey Butt, son Marcel and daughter-in-law Andrea. She will be sadly missed by her precious grandchildren Jordan and Brianna Butt, as well as her mother Martha Barnes, brothers Harold (Bernice), John (Wanda), Mike (Lawrence), sisters: Loretta Gillingham, Darlene Ryan (Murray), Elaine Barnes (Taylor), Monica House (Harrison), Charlotte Park (Bradley), brother-in-law Kevin Morgan (Verna), sisters-in-law: Rosie Lovell, Veda White (George), Phyllis Morgan, along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her father Reginald Barnes, brother Kevin Barnes, brother-in-law Eric Brake, brothers: Steve and Jack Morgan and sister-in-law Hilda Lovell. The family would like to thank the staff at Scarborough Grace and General Hospitals for their care. Friends are invited to share in the memories of Rowena during visitation at the Epiphany Anglican Church in McIvers on Saturday, November 8th and Sunday, November 9th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., from where the Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 10th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Joan Coles officiating. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to one’s charity of choice is appreciated.
