It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sarah Lynn Tozer on April 12th, 2010 at the VG Site QEII Palliative Care Unit 7A, surrounded by love, family and friends after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 14th, 1982 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of Bev and Frankie (Wood) Tozer of Burton, NB. Sarah was currently in her final year of the Physiotherapy program at Dalhousie University in Halifax. She thoroughly enjoyed her studies, the program, her professors and fellow students. Sarah is survived by her parents; her sister, Stephanie Murphy (David) of Germany; her two nephews, Broden and Grant; her boyfriend, Athen Anderson of Winnipeg, MB; several aunts, uncles and cousins and numerous friends who were very special to her. Our family wishes to thank all of the phenomenal doctors, nurses and support staff from floors 9A and 7A. Their caring support was a great comfort and will always be remembered.
We also wish to thank all of our friends, relatives, and neighbors who were so supportive to our family during these difficult months. Your caring prayers and kindness shown in so many ways will never be forgotten.
There will be no visitation by request, a memorial service will be held at the Oromocto Baptist Church (10 Doyle Drive) on Friday, April 16th, 2010 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Perry Hanley officiating. For those who wish, donations in memory of Sarah may be made to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (www.cholangiocarcinoma.org) or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
