It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roy Gerald Harvey announce his passing at the Bay St George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at the age of 76 years. He will be sadly missed by his two sons: Chris (Doreen) of Cranbrook, British Columbia, Dean (Angela) of Yellowknife, three brothers: Gerard Harvey of Boswarlos, Aubrey Harvey of Boswarlos, Verne Harvey of Labrador City, four sisters: Jessie Bailey of Boswarlos, Hazel Jesso of Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing, Pearl Bertrand of Ontario, Violet Walbourne of Steady Brook, five grandchildren: Jakob, Jordan, Brandon, Cerah, Ayden and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Harvey. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Sunday, August 17th at 2:00 p.m. at Russell’s Funeral Home Chapel, 39 Queen Street, Stephenville with Rev. Kathryn Eddy officiating. Cremation will take place after the funeral service and interment will take place on Monday, August 18th. at 5:00 p.m. at the United Cemetery in Boswarlos. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Stephenville.
