Passed peacefully away at Hoyles-Escasoni Home in St. John's on Sunday, April 11, 2010, Rita C. Neil, aged 80 years, formerly of Corner Brook. Predeceased by her parents William and May Chipman, brothers: Malcolm, Nathaniel and sister Marion. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Reginald of 58 years and four loving children: Paul and wife Carolyn; daughters: Laura (James Masters) and Lesley; Lois and husband Ray Woodrow and daughter Lisa; Keith and wife Denise, children Kaitlyn and Devin; Craig and wife Dianne, children Joshua and Christopher. Also leaving to mourn sisters: Eva Hutchings, Violet (John Pauls) and Evelyn (Phil Pauls) and sister-in-law Naida Chipman. Rita will be missed by many friends in Corner Brook and by the Parish of All Saints Anglican Church. Resting at Young's Funeral Home in Spaniard's Bay with visitation Tuesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 14th at 2 p.m. from Holy Redeemer Church in Spaniard's Bay. Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery (Green Head), Spaniards Bay. Donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Society.
