It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Russell Thomas Ward announce his passing at his cabin in Portage Lake on Monday, January 5, 2009 at the age of 60 years. He leaves to mourn his wife Delphine; children: Donna (Rob) Nauffts, Dartmouth, NS, Tracy Ward, Philadelphia; grandchildren: Nathan and Rylee; sisters: Annette Ward, Stephenville, Winifred (Michael) Young, Dartmouth, NS, Madonna (Cliff Muise), Stephenville, Debbie (Steven Benoit), Stephenville, Tina (Randy) Young, BC, Darlene (Ronnie Young), Stephenville, Vernell (Fabian) Lucas, St. George’s; brothers: John (Patrica), Stephenville, Leonard (Betty), Stephenville Crossing, Norman (Carm), Newmarket, ON as well as a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Mary; brother Leroy and sister Shirley. Visitation will take place from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s on Wednesday beginning at 2:00 p.m. from where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Daffodil Place.
