Suddenly on August 31, 2008, Sandra Gay, aged 55, passed away in Edmonton, Alberta. Born in Corner Brook, Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Leander and Margaret; brother Chester and grandson Sean. She leaves to mourn one son, Steven, of Edmonton; two daughters: Christine Porter (Harvey) of Edmonton and Jackie Borden (Melvin) of Conception Bay South; three precious grandsons, Dylen, Lucus and Alex; siblings: Mary Allen (Noel) of Ottawa, Diane Burridge (Derek) of McIvers, Ruby (Mary Lou) of Halifax, Doris Humphries (Jack) of St. John’s, Calvin (Betty) of Sarnia, Stephen (Brenda) of Halifax; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service held on September 6th at the Hainstock Funeral Home in Edmonton. Donations in Sandra’s memory can be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital.
