It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sarah MacDonald announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the age of 83 years. She will be sadly missed by eight sons: Bernard (Judy) of Felix Cove, Roderick of Felix Cove, Raymond (Mary) of Alberta, Stephen (Elaine) of Stephenville, Wilfred of Montreal, Mathew of Nova Scotia, Joseph (Doris) of Nova Scotia, James (Loretta) of Felix Cove, five daughters: Rosemary (Robert) Kaczmarek of Ontario, Ann of Kingston, Joan (Wayne) McKenzie of Felix Cove, Shirley (Frank) Dalton of Whitehorse, Sandra (Tony) Ryan of Dryden, Ontario, one brother, Aloysius Felix of St. John’s, one sister, Mercedes Ford of St. John’s, 34 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter, Elizabeth and her husband, Stanley. Visitation took place at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4:00 and 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service took place on Monday, December 29th at 10:00 a.m. at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East with Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetary in Port au Port East. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated.
