It is with great sadness that the family of the late Simone Campbell (nee Noël) announces her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Friday, March 7, 2008 at the age of 69 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband of 47 years, Malcolm; son, Malcolm (Bonnie) of Deer Lake; daughter, Lucille (Kerry) Crewe of Irishtown; grandchildren: Andy Nichols and Brandon & Melissa Crewe; brothers: Ethelbert (Dorothy) Noël and Marcel (Rona) Noël of Corner Brook and John (Deloris) Noël of Kamloops, BC; sister, Peggy (Joe) Sparrow of St. John’s; special sister and best friend, Lucille Noël of Corner Brook; sisters-in-law: Mary and Norah Noël; and a large number of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Emilien and Mary Noël; brothers: Valmore Noël and Emile Noël; and sister and brother-in-law, Marcheta and John Dunphy. Cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving friends at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, March 10, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer with Monsignor Gale officiating.
