It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stephen James Jeddore announce his passing on Friday, April 18th, 2008 at the Interfaith Home in his 90th year. He leaves to mourn his daughters: Jean (Anthony) Leonard of St. John’s, Lillian (Gerald) Finlay of St. David’s, Clarice (Jessie) Coish, Deer Lake, Dallace (Jerry) Leroux, Deer Lake, Vivian (Dawson) Gosse of Iqualuit, Patricia (Paul) Finnegan of New Brunswick, Catherine (Normon) Foote of New Brunswick, Denise (Darrell) Hynes of On; his sons: Stephen (Barbara) of Deer Lake, Jeffrey (Danica) of New Brunswick; 27 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Also his sister Francis Hurley of Badger; sisters-in-law Mae (Woodrow) Head, Helen (Larry) Tulk, Carolyn Farnell and Yvonne (Edward) King of Deer Lake. Brothers-in-law Owen (Vera) Legge of Corner Brook and Byron (Pauline) Farnell of Deer Lake. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife Delilah (Legge), his sisters Mary, Josephine, Margaret and Ann and his brother-in-law Francis Farnell. The family received friends on Sunday, April 20th, 2008 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. from Parsons Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place Monday, April 21, 2008 at 2 p.m. from the Immaculate Conception Church in Deer Lake with Father John Collins officiating with interment to follow at the church cemetery in Deer Lake. Flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Deer Lake Vera Perlin Association.
