It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sylvia (Sunny) Allison Griffin (nee Fradsham) announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Thursday, April 9, 2009. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Gerard Francis Griffin and one son, Ross (Geraldine) Griffin of Port Williams, Nova Scotia, two daughters: Carolyn (Ronald) Kinsman of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Allison Griffin of Bowmanville, Ontario, one brother, Albert (Marjorie) Fradsham of Barachois Brook, NL, two sisters: Marilyn (Clyde) Roberts of Flowers Cove, NL, Margaret (Don) Taylor of Steady Brook, NL, four grandchildren: Andrew (Lizzie) Kinsman, Matthew Kinsman, Connor Griffin, Michael Griffin, one great-granddaughter, Maya Kinsman and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Gladys Fradsham and her sisters, June Rose, Ella Crews, Linda Fradsham. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, April 13th 10 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
